Regarding Press Release dated February 11, 2009, with respect to the creation of a
converged network for the Mexican National Water Commission (Comisión Nacional
del Agua, CONAGUA), 3Com would like to inform that it participated indirectly in the
project, through renowned telecommunications company AXTEL. Currently, a
contractual relationship does not exist between the Mexican National Water
Commission and 3Com Mexico.
It is important to note that for this significant project, 3Com only provided telecom
systems for the LAN, WiFi and Voice-over-IP networking platform.
